Accountability

I love to crochet, and do other crafty type things. Doesn’t mean that I’m good, just that I like to do them. The problem is, I always have WAY too many unfinished projects. So to keep accoutable, here’s my list of current big projects:

Blanket for the Bookworm.

Counting Set for Sweet, done in plastic canvas. (sorry it’s sideways, too lazy to change it) (48/64pcs)

Scrap Blanket #1 (340/836 squares)

Scrap Blanket #2 (1/14 strips)

Scrap Blanket #3 (23/64 squares)

Scrap Blanket #4 (yes, I do have that much scrap yarn!) (59/560 squares)

First of a series of different Santa pictures, done in cross stitch

This doesn’t count small projects, and any of my scrapbook projects. My goal is to have all of these done by my birthday next year. The one that will take the logest is the cross stitch, which is why I’m giving myself so much time. The scrap blankets will also take quite a while, because I hate sewing in ends, and sewing pcs together isn’t too much fun either. Too bad they look so cute when thery’re finished.

  1. Thanks for sharing! I get like that too!! I am into making a king size quilt right now in scrappy blues and I am sewing it and have a lot to do yet. I am in the middle of knitting a sweater. I am in the middle of a book. I am gardening too which requires a lot of maintenance. I have little seeds etc all over the place and I am on this computer entering giveaways. So much to do!!! It is fun to do all these things but sometimes my knitting gets left behind lately!!

I use to doodle with crocheting also. I made my grandson (first one) so many baby blankets. I think I burned out after that but I was trying to make potholders, etc. Just the easier ones, nothing too difficult

I love your idea of keeping yourself accountable for finishing projects! I am the exact same way! I have half sewn clothing items everywhere!!!!!

I don’t know how to crochet but this looks cool enough for me to learn. As a stay at home mom, I think I can make some things with my spare time :)
