Two Boys, Two Planets an early reader book about an Earth boy who meets a Martian boy. They learn how, even though they are different, they are also similar in many ways. For the parent, it has a wonderful message while helping a child learn to read. For the child, it has colorful pictures, and easy words to read (and it involves space and people from other planets, and what kid doesn’t like that kind of stuff?)
Sweet is a HUGE book lover, and this has been a very enjoyable addition to her growing library of “I’m not a baby anymore” books. She’s yet too young to really understand the meaning behind the story, of acceptance, tolerance, and love, but she absolutely loves the pictures, and this book is read to her at least a few times a week. I can see it staying in our library for many years to come.
