101 Stories of Love, Sacrifice and Bonding
Do you have a family member who requires constant care? You are not alone. This collection offers support and encouragement in its 101 stories for family caregivers of all ages, including the “sandwich” generation caring for a family member while raising their children. With stories by those on the receiving end of the care too. These stories of love, sacrifice, and lessons will inspire and uplift family members making sacrifices to make sure their loved ones are well cared for, whether in their own homes or elsewhere.
Like all of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books, there is always at least one story that I can relate to personally. While I am not a caregiver to either my parents or Computer Dude’s parents, I expect to (and look forward to) being one in the future. Although it is hard work taking care of a family member, no matter what their age, and there are plenty of stresses and issues that come with it, I love the thought of my parents and parents-in-law getting to grow old and live out their days near loved ones.
Three of my readers will win a copy of this book! Just fill out the Rafflectopter form, and you’re set. Contest is open to US and Canadian residents, and ends on 5/21 at 9pm PST. Good luck!

I’d like to win for both my sisters whop actually live together now. They both work at a nursing home and patients become like family to them so I think they’d both enjoy this book
I’d love to win it for myself. I am the main caregiver for my 87-year-old mother and there are so many times I can really use some inspirational words.
i am not a caregiver at this time…. but i can enjoy reading this, as i do all the chicken soup books.
I’d like to win this for my mother.
Such a touching book!
I think I might read this myself and then pass it on. I am the primary caregiver for my wife – who is chronically ill with four separate diseases. She is homebound all the time and bedridden four to five times a week. I hate seeing her like that and it can be hard on our kids. It’s mostly hard on her, though. I don’t mind taking care of her – I love her no matter what and this is what God has for us right now.
The book would be for me. I am part of the “sandwich generation” and could really use some encouraging words right about now.
my bf he has to take care of me
I’d want to read it and then I may pass it on. Sadly my grandmother passed recently so the family caregiving thing may be too raw for my mom.
my mom
I think both my Mom and Mother-in-law would enjoy reading this. Thanks for the giveaway!
I’d like to win it for my sister. She and I share the responsibility of caregiver for our mother but big sis is a born caregiver and I have had to learn how to do it with grace.
