So month 2 is finished, and while I was truthfully hoping for one of those success story worthy results, I’m still happy with what I’ve done. I gain/lose weight very strangely, which sucks. When I gain, it starts in my belly/hips/butt/chest. Then it moves to my legs/arms/neck, then wrists/hands and ankles/feet. When I lose, it goes backwards. So I’ve notices thinner fingers, and my chicken ankles are making a comeback. I can also feel actual muscles in my legs when we do our Silver Falls hikes, so I’m excited about that! But it hasn’t made much of an impact in my middle, which is really frustrating at times. I hoped that maybe I could see a difference in my before/during pics, but they are so much alike that I could tell the difference only by looking at the pants I was wearing (Even my cat was sitting in almost the same space as last time! haha) And it can be hard to keep from being jealous of all of the other Cinch bloggers who are seeing huge differences. (Although I am SO happy for them at the same time! They are awesome women.) All I can do is to keep going, and know that someday I’ll be seeing awesome results too.
I almost deleted that last paragraph, it really makes it seem like I’m really unhappy with the way my results are turning out. While I am a little disappointed with the lack of speed of my weight loss, I’m constantly reminding myself of how much work I’m putting in, and how far I’ve come. There are a lot of positive things that have happened while using Cinch, and I talk about it more in my next video.
Here are my month 2 results, with the beginning numbers in parentheses:
Arms: 13(L) 12.5(R) (13.75(L) 13.25(R))
Legs: 25.5(L)25(R) (25.75(L) 25.25(R))
BMI: 31.5 (33.3)<----My BMI is almost 2 points lower! Woot!
A note about the measurements: I think I somehow screwed up my beginning measurements, because for my 1 month update, I had somehow GAINED anywhere from 1 to 3 inches in each place. I’m not sure what I did, but I’m happy to see that almost all of my current measurements are finally below the (most likely incorrect) original numbers.
Weight: 183 (42 lbs total, 11.8 lost so far. I’m almost on track!)
Pants size: 10/12 (I can fit into/zip up a size 14, but it’s still a little tight)
I’m going on an anniversary trip with Computer Dude this next weekend, so I’m going to work really hard at fitting into those 14 pants!
