Don’t you hate when you go to use your shampoo/lotion/misc cosmetics, only to find out that there’s none left in the bottle? Well, it’s not completely empty, but actually worse than that. You KNOW there’s some left, but as hard as you try, you can’t get it out? So you end up looking like a wierdo, swinging this mostly empty bottle around in the air, end up hitting your hand against the wall on accident. Not that I’m talking from experience, of course, just a guess on my part. Ahem.
So lucky for me, I’m not the only one who has dealt with this in the past. Claudia Hoexter had this problem also, and came up with a solution: the Beauty Spoon.
As a former model, I am very conscious of my skin and the products I use. Unfortunately, I noticed that I wasn’t always able to retrieve all the liquids/creams/gels in my product bottles.
So one morning, I had enough and created the Beauty Spoon® (etched on scratch paper first) before I headed to work. What can I say? I’m a multi-tasker! I invented the Beauty Spoon®, so that no one else would have to endure this frustration any longer. No matter the cost of your beauty products, $10-$100, you have the right to your money’s worth!
As luck would have it, I was running out of my favorite lotion when I received my Beauty Spoon in the mail. I was happy to have something to use it on right away! What surprised me though is how much I got out of it! This was my body lotion, and this bottle, that I would have thrown away at that point, instead had enough for almost 3 more days.
The Beauty Spoon looks like a little spatula, and that’s exactly how you use it! Just put it in the bottle (the rubber spatula part folds easily to fit in even small bottle necks) and scoop out the amount you need. It works on any type of lotion, gel, and more, and is sold in a 2-pack, with 2 sizes for use with a wide range of bottle sizes.
You can buy a set of Beauty Spoons on their website for only $9.99. Plus, shipping is FREE in the US! I am also getting the chance to give a set away to one of my readers! Enter below, and make sure to connect with them on Facebook and Twitter while you’re at it. Contest ends on 9/7, and is open to US residents only. Good luck!
