It’s another episode of Fitness Friday, hosted by We Have It All and Andersons Angels. We’ll post up weekly updates about our fitness journey, and we want you to join in!
I’ll be posting about things like diet changes, weight loss, inches lost and activity goals along with the failures or achievements of my past week. I’ve been trying to lose weight for a long time, but this year is going to be different. The biggest change is going to be my mindset (read this post). With that changing, the weight loss will be much easier. ![]()
Here is my week 5 update:
WEIGHT
Current weight: 213.8
First Goal: 199 (ONE-derland!)
Second Goal: 185
Third Goal: 169 (Healthy BMI)
Final Goal: 150
I was 214 last week, so I’m down .2 lbs.
ACTIVITY
This past week I did very little in terms of exercise. The little ones and I were all down with a cold, and I barely had the gumption to get a tiny bit of the housework and cooking done. I did do some home routines when I could, and walked a tiny bit. I’m now up to miles, which was a bit behind my monthly goal of 80 miles, but I’m ok with that.
FOOD
Still lovin’ on the salads, and I’ve been making an effort to cook at home as much as possible. I’ve been upping my water intake, and trying to drink less coffee. I’m going to be switching from coffee to tea soon, I have a horrible weakness for creamer, which adds on too many unnecessary calories.
GOALS FOR FEBRUARY 8
Weight – 212
Activity – Same goal as last week. I’d like to get 20 miles walked this week. At the gym I usually end up walking 3.5-4 miles, three times a week, so that’s a big chunk. I’m also going to get in 2-3 kettlebell workouts at home, along with some yoga.
Diet – The water challenge (started by Pepper Scraps) just started a couple days ago, and it’s helping me meet my water goals daily. I’m also going to be switching out 1 cup of coffee a day with tea, and cooking at home every night except for one.

Awesome – you’re still down! And it’s the hardest to do ANYTHING when the little one’s are sick!
