(Not so) Wordless Wednesday – Oops!

Public Service Announcement: Pick up after yourself!

We’re starting the big springtime yard work season, and we’re getting everything ready for planting in another couple months! Remember the pictures a few weeks ago of all the bulb flowers that were coming up? Well, here’s some more!

Isn’t that going to look perfect as an Easter centerpiece in a few weeks? Except wait, who planted daffodils in this pot? Me? No. Bookworm or Volleyball Star? No. Nor was it Computer Dude or the little ones. So what the heck?
Well, they actually WEREN’T planted in this pot. When I transferred all the bulbs last fall, I had a bunch left over that I was supposed to pack up in a box of sawdust. Instead they were forgotten about, left piled in a pot over the winter in the back yard, and took matters into their own hands.

So now I’m going to pull them out and separate them (and put some dirt in there!), THEN they can be a pretty centerpiece!

I can’t wait to see how they look!

  7. I am officially ready for spring. It will be weird for me to have a yard to take care of all on my own this year and to plan what to plant… ? I guess I better get started planning!
